• This Division is responsible for the provision of secretariat and administrative support services to the Prime Minister and Cabinet on all matters pertaining to the meetings of Cabinet
  • In addition, it is also responsible for the effective and efficient management of a database system for all Cabinet documents and records.
  • This is to ensure their proper filing and storage, security protection, long term archiving and easy access and retrieval when required
  • Core activities include regular consultations with the Prime Minister on meetings or Cabinet and the business agenda for each Cabinet meeting. The Ministry submissions are formatted and numbered for circulation to all Ministers together with the agenda for each Cabinet meeting. The minutes are prepared immediately after each Cabinet meeting and submitted to the Office of the Head of State within 24hours to fulfull a constitutional requirement. The Cabinet’s decision on each item is then referred to the relevant Minister for implementation by his or her Ministry
